Moving to California HELP!?

Ok so im moving to CA from Chicago IL cuz my dad is going for his job and im going with ...he said he was looking at houses in Corona and it is really probable we'll be moving there...so this is my Q since i dont know anything about CA haha...How long does it take to get to LA and Irvine CA from Corona CA like time in minutes / hours =) thx
