Question about a horse being gaited?

i just bought a registered quarter horse mare. i bought her as a brood mare due to her specific bloodline. however, she is in foal to foal this month. the lady i bought her from let a registered tennessee walker breed her. i would not have done this, however it is what it is. she said the foal would be a "racking" horse and would be gaited. i have little to no experience with gaited horses. however, i have considered buying one just to weekend ride for pleasure. my other horses are halter horses. do you think this foal will be gaited? when you breed a gaited horse to a quarter horse how does it usually turn out? thanks
